Basma loves turnips. She plants some seeds in hope to grow a garden of turnips. The seeds take more time than anticipated to grow; they also need water, sunlight, love, and so much patience. This interactive story calls the young readers to join Basma in performing to the growing plant. The story is based on a Russian folktale, The Big Turnip.
